The pitch has moved since the spring: Free dropped out of the headline and AI-Powered moved in. Claude reads a user story and suggests a point value with reasoning on complexity, risk and scope, then reads retro cards and returns team mood, themes and ranked action priorities. A Privacy Mode strips emails, URLs and company names before anything is sent. Price is the other hook, and they put it bluntly:

"One person pays, the whole team uses it. No per-seat nonsense."

Our take

Estimioo is still a planning-poker tool that also runs retros, but the retro side is no longer an afterthought. A live board confirmed 41 one-click templates, a 2–25 minute session timer, per-card thumbs-up voting, 340+ synced icebreakers, six ambient soundscapes, 16 emoji reactions, and an AI summary returning team mood, themes and ranked action items you can push straight onto the board. At $7 flat for the whole workspace, that is real value.

The gaps are structural. Cards are attributed — every note carries its author's name and avatar, and there is no anonymity toggle — so "write independently" buys anti-anchoring, not psychological safety. No grouping, no vote budget, no owners or due dates on actions, no carry-over between retros. Team Health Check and Working Agreements are column presets rather than scored assessments, and the Team Radar template draws no radar. Slack and Teams are clipboard buttons, not integrations. No API, webhooks or MCP anywhere.

Buy it for cheap estimation with a competent retro attached — not to run a retro practice that needs anonymity, grouping or follow-through.
