AI-powered planning poker, retrospectives and standups for agile teams
Estimioo is a lightweight, browser-based agile-ceremony tool that bundles AI-assisted planning poker, a 42-format sprint retrospective board and async daily standups into one shared workspace. The centre of gravity is still estimation, but the retro module is a real one: one-click formats, a 2–25 minute session timer, per-card thumbs-up voting, synced icebreakers, twelve ambient and music tracks, and a Claude-powered summary that returns team mood, key themes and ranked action items. What it is not is a facilitation suite — retro cards carry their author's name and avatar with no anonymity option anywhere in the product, and there is no grouping, no dot-vote budget and no action-item owners or carry-over between sprints.

Manage team health, not sticky notes
QRetro is a completely free retrospective tool with no seat or team caps, built by solo developer Roman Ermilov and shipping since January 2023. It runs a fixed seven-stage session — optional health check, optional icebreaker game, cards, grouping, voting, discussion, results — and closes with an OpenAI-generated summary, a ROTI score, suggested next steps and an analysis layer that clusters the cards by topic, sentiment and urgency. An official, open-source MCP server exposes 29 read/write tools so Claude, Cursor or VS Code can query boards, health trends and actions directly.
Full review →Estimioo scores 4.6 overall and is best for small, distributed agile teams who want fast AI-assisted planning poker and async standups at near-zero cost, plus a genuinely usable 42-format retro board — and who don't need anonymity, grouping, or action-item follow-through across sprints. It offers a free tier.
QRetro scores 6.3 overall and is best for small agile teams and independent squads that want a genuinely well-equipped retro — 52 templates, health checks, ROTI, timer, in-board surveys, icebreaker games and MCP access — at zero cost, and can accept a solo-maintainer vendor with no SSO, no PDF or spreadsheet export and no certifications. It offers a free tier.
QRetro leads on ease of use, retro toolkit, fun factor, AI & insights, integrations and open platform.
Across our eight scoring dimensions, QRetro edges ahead with an overall score of 6.3. That said, the right pick depends on your team — see the dimension-by-dimension breakdown below.
